i like this famous sweet maker of uae/india bikanervala
Craving for typical Indian street food ? Head to any "Bikanervala" and satisfy your soul, period !Moment you walk-into this outlet in Al Seef, i am sure you'll feel a mix of traditional Indian art & culture presented through food .We Ordered their all time famous "Papdi Chaat" which was just amazing in taste. Full of dahi and smashed potato inside with special spices & chaatni , sprinkled with bhujia on the top with small pieces of pomegranate made this heavenly, Just melted on our mouth.Absolute value for money and very quick service (May be less customer during pandemic), highly recommended.
Bikanervala Courtyard, Al Seef is a nice, quiet cool place if you visit them on weekdays. We visited them on a Wednesday and used their external seating arrangement. A bit warm and humid, so later we had to move indoors.
We ordered Matar Kulcha, Raj Kachori, Tandoori Platter, crispy honey chilli potato.
Matar Kulcha - Kulch was soft and warm. Matar curry was mild, any one like us want a bit more spicy can top it up with green chillies.
Raj Kachori - This is a signature dish of the restaurant I guess. We asked for a bit spicy and they didn't disappoint us. It was spicy, tangy, sweet with all flavours.
Tandoori platter - Paneer, Aloo, mushroom was properly marinated and was served with mint chutney and salad. In the whole kids enjoyed it. Although I am not a big fan of it. From my side, it was average.
Crispy honey chilli potato - Sweet and Spicy by taste, it did justice with the name. We all enjoyed it and was one of the best dishes we had.
We ended up with cup of tea to finish of our meal. We specifically asked for a strong ginger tea. We were not disappointed once it got served.
By the time we finished and were walking back to the car park, weather was slightly cooler with cool breeze flowing from the creek.
